Yes, The sheriff is still there. There are places we deliver to now that have city police that would not show up in time anyways.

I'm retired public safety with 18 years of service in fire departments. I served side by side with law enforcement officers in the line of duty and still support my Brothers and Sisters in uniform. If public safety agencies are defunded or disbanded the communities will be promoting an supporting lawlessness and anarchy. I will not put myself in harm's way to deliver into a mad max scene.

No amount of money is worth getting hurt over and no amount of money is worth hurting someone else over it. Plenty of good cities in America to deliver freight too.
