Yes because places such as Minneapolis say they aren’t going to disband until they have a plan in place to replace it. Look at Camden NJ, they did it in 2012 and they have less than half the crime they did before.

It is time to start taking matters into your on hands the police can’t be your babysitter and as for the idiots out there if they know every one is packing heat they would be less likely to fuck with you. No one wants to feel a bullet in there ass

I'm retired public safety with 18 years of service in fire departments. I served side by side with law enforcement officers in the line of duty and still support my Brothers and Sisters in uniform. If public safety agencies are defunded or disbanded the communities will be promoting an supporting lawlessness and anarchy. I will not put myself in harm's way to deliver into a mad max scene.

No load is worth my life. Look at what they did to the tanker driver during the protests. Look at what they tried to do the FedEx driver. Enough is enough.

I want my personal safety to be as strong as possible. If the towns are at risk that is, as my driving instructor would say a “hazard”. One that to me is unacceptable.

Because it does not mean you will be delivering in a rough neighborhood. I know without doubt that most areas would protect shipments of necessities

I will not help communities that don't stand up to tyranny. The police are there to help. People who don't want police move your ass to the desert of Afghanistan and live with the Taliban. They have no police. My ancestors helped make this country and fought for it. I will be dammed if I stand by and watch it fall.
I swore an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States against ALL ENEMIES FORIEN AND DOMESTIC SO HELP ME GOD!!!!

If defunding emphasizes less weaponry for the police, what happens when they show up with knives to a gunfight? Remember the saying, something about only criminals will have guns...How will any police force fill its ranks if those people know they cannot protect themselves from the criminal element they are tasked with apprehending? It opens the door to continued National Guard presence, maybe even martial law. Bad idea overall, imho.

I am responsible for my safety and my codrivers safety when I am driving. Also responsible for maintaining and taking care of my 150,000 truck. Going into a place with no law and order would put both those things at risk. I have never in my driving career been given a ticket or have I been involved in an accident. I have over a million safe miles. I have been to some places where the police work overtime to keep law and order and its still very scary to get out of my truck and walk across the street. I can't imagine if there were a place where anything goes and anyone can determine what the law looks like to them. Its just to risky for me. I have a great job where my boss will listen to me when I say I won't go. He has already said he won't put me at risk by sending me there.
