These Liberal cities are not only dangerous to anyone going in, but their good citizens as well. The ONLY way to stop these rediculas decisions is to stop delivering to them. When they run out of everyday needs. They'll have to do something.

If defunding emphasizes less weaponry for the police, what happens when they show up with knives to a gunfight? Remember the saying, something about only criminals will have guns...How will any police force fill its ranks if those people know they cannot protect themselves from the criminal element they are tasked with apprehending? It opens the door to continued National Guard presence, maybe even martial law. Bad idea overall, imho.

I will not help communities that don't stand up to tyranny. The police are there to help. People who don't want police move your ass to the desert of Afghanistan and live with the Taliban. They have no police. My ancestors helped make this country and fought for it. I will be dammed if I stand by and watch it fall. Defunding police doesn’t equate to no police, I have literally no issue with delivering freight as usual everywhere and anywhere....

I am responsible for my safety and my codrivers safety when I am driving. Also responsible for maintaining and taking care of my 150,000 truck. Going into a place with no law and order would put both those things at risk. I have never in my driving career been given a ticket or have I been involved in an accident. I have over a million safe miles. I have been to some places where the police work overtime to keep law and order and its still very scary to get out of my truck and walk across the street. I can't imagine if there were a place where anything goes and anyone can determine what the law looks like to them. Its just to risky for me. I have a great job where my boss will listen to me when I say I won't go. He has already said he won't put me at risk by sending me there.

Whoever chose the phrase defund wasn't very smart because that's not what it actually means. Reorganization or restructuring is what it should say because that's what it is. It's NOT getting rid of the police entirely
