Why would I wanna risk my life even more than I already do... the cops are out to protect us and everyone else’s bad enough drivers are already being shot at as it is. Take away the cops and I could die, and if I have my kid or family member with me when I’m there they could die. Not risking my life for these idiots, let the shelves go empty in these defunded areas. People already hate us as it is because we r slow and big but they cry when they need us, but when the shelf’s are restocked and they can buy shit again then we are the enemy again and back to cutting us off and tying to kill us because they don’t know how to plan ahead. I'm retired public safety with 18 years of service in fire departments. I served side by side with law enforcement officers in the line of duty and still support my Brothers and Sisters in uniform. If public safety agencies are defunded or disbanded the communities will be promoting an supporting lawlessness and anarchy. I will not put myself in harm's way to deliver into a mad max scene.

Yes, The sheriff is still there. There are places we deliver to now that have city police that would not show up in time anyways.
