Ryn, I just made the comment that these post have actually have been the highlight of my week. You are always so supportive of the good in people.
I have always had a special place in my heart for the overcomers in this world.. We certainly have some wonderful and fine examples in our app family. โฅ๏ธโค๏ธ

I actually like that the signed message to Hillbilly was not captioned for those who do not know sign language. It makes a profound point on how many members of the Deaf community feel when videos with spoken language are not captioned. I realize so much has improved since when I was a child. Growing up as the minority of hearing children with Deaf parents (both), a Deaf sister, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and so forth, I've seen great changes. That said, there is always room for growth. Adding subtitles to your videos (auto generate, as YouTube uses, is painfully inaccurate,) includes those who would like to be included in the various conversations. If I may make a final observation, just remember that hearing people can learn ASL. Those who are Deaf cannot learn to hear. That leaves the consideration on the shoulders of those who hear to remember to include our Deaf brothers and sisters in our discussions. As with anyone, they may have valuable thoughts to contribute, but are often not in the forefront of our minds in these important times of inclusion.
Thank you for a lovely message and for bringing awareness that the Deaf can do Anything, except hear. Much love and goodwill to you all!
