You are the man Jim 😘😘😘way to go!!! My sister was married to a deaf foreman in the construction industry and we would laugh when he says he would lower the volume in his hearing aid when my sister started in on him. Lmao.

I'm honored that we have people in this industry that were willing to stand up and fight for what's right to allow people with certain disabilities to be able to continue to live their dreams so again thanks to you and James

You’re awesome!! We had a deaf guy in our 18 week class and I helped him a lot. I know sign language (very little) but enough to have a conversation. I’ll be sure to let him know if this!!

Hello to CDLlife folks, Hat off to James Queen for declaring that he’s a profound deaf who is co-founder of our Deaf Truckers United Facebook DTU establishment in 2010 and been professional trucker for a several years. He’s accomplished so far. . I was one of admins of this DTU at first original group and had been battled with our rights and defeat the oppression and discrimination. FMCSA granted us the hearing exemption since 2012. We were a big victory because we’re small deaf group to defeat the biggest. Now we’re growing deaf people who are professional truckers and continues growing. And I added that I am deaf professional trucker, too. It’s about the skills, not hearing. 10-4 and be safe out there.

As a hearing challenged person I appreciate this post! I’ll check out your website. I wear hearing aids n the first thing the officer always asks me is if I’m wearing my hearing aids.
