Hello to CDLlife folks,
Hat off to James Queen for declaring that heβs a profound deaf who is co-founder of our Deaf Truckers United Facebook DTU establishment in 2010 and been professional trucker for a several years. Heβs accomplished so far. .
I was one of admins of this DTU at first original group and had been battled with our rights and defeat the oppression and discrimination.
FMCSA granted us the hearing exemption since 2012. We were a big victory because weβre small deaf group to defeat the biggest.
Now weβre growing deaf people who are professional truckers and continues growing.
And I added that I am deaf professional trucker, too.
Itβs about the skills, not hearing.
10-4 and be safe out there.

What your doing is awesome, bro! My daughter was born deaf in her right ear. She doesn't have, anything in her right ear. No ear drum or inner ear. And now, her left ear is going in and out.

You are the man Jim πππway to go!!! My sister was married to a deaf foreman in the construction industry and we would laugh when he says he would lower the volume in his hearing aid when my sister started in on him. Lmao.

I'm honored that we have people in this industry that were willing to stand up and fight for what's right to allow people with certain disabilities to be able to continue to live their dreams so again thanks to you and James
